Niki and I connected after she had a less than stellar trial experience elsewhere, her sister had recommended me and she was willing to give a trial with me a shot. After her trial with me, Niki became a glam-addict, literally. She booked me and my team for her wedding on the spot, hiring us for her rehearsal dinner, beach day welcome party, and the day of her actual wedding. We got to do her makeup and hair for a few events leading up to her wedding as well, which was really nice and as I got to know Niki we became friends!

On the actual wedding wedding weekend, we planned for three looks. A more glam rehearsal dinner makeup and hair look, a very natural and subtle look for the beach day, and a more enhanced version of herself for the wedding day. Each look was different yet perfect and it was so fun to collaborate on ideas for the looks!

For the pre-wedding events, me and my team handled makeup & hair for her and her sister, and on the wedding day me and my team handled makeup for her and her bridal party! Niki hired me to stay for touch ups, but when I tell you her makeup didn’t budge a centimeter throughout the day I mean it.

The wedding day was absolutely perfect, perfect weather and perfect vibes. Niki and her girls are really fun, so they had a blast getting ready together in the morning. When it was time for photos I trailed behind Niki making sure she looked perfect in all shots (she did) and the love her and Alex have for each other was radiating in every photo taken. Their dog even came for a few photos (Cannoli is literally the cutest). I got to see the ceremony from a safe space behind the photographer, and their vows moved me to tears. They are the perfect example of a loving, beautiful couple. After a final touch up post ceremony I set off for home. Niki and Alex had an amazing reception planned at Pao at the Faena, and then an afterparty at Sanctuary for their guests. Judging from photos and Niki’s rave reviews seemed like her makeup lasted through the wee hours of the morning.

Truly an epic weekend.
